Tony asked my band to go on tour with his band (!!!) and asked me to design the poster, to which I said HELL YES. He wanted the art to look like my older work for other indie pop bands, so the poster is a pared-down punk version. We also collaborated on a cassette - the typography was all hand done on my 60s cursive typewriter.
Summit Water Resources is a groundwater supply and water resource management consultancy. I designed this identity for them based on the desire to see mountains and water together in one logo.
PDX Woodworks is a Portland-based company making custom handcrafted furniture with 13 years of experience. They were looking to refresh their identity with a new logo. Thinking about how to convey their attention to detail and level of quality, I used the dovetail joint as a point of reference.
Planview creates Portfolio and Work Management Solutions, and enable organizations to connect the business from ideas to impact. I have worked with them mainly on the production of collateral items based on their brand manual. The works shown here are examples of designs I created for them for specific promotions.
Woodstock Elementary is part of the Portland Public School district, with both a Neighborhood program and a Chinese Immersion program. Here are my most fun creations, including a graphic for their Spirit Wear that was designed to help bridge the gap between the two programs while raising funds for the PTA, and a refresh of their Dual Lion logo, representing the unity between the Chinese Immersion and Neighborhood programs.
The Advice Booth is the coolest bar in North Portland. They came to me and asked “We want an identity that feels like Cheers. Can you make it like Cheers?” Yes. Absolutely.
Chickfactor is the infamous “legendary indie nerd bible” music zine, created by Gail O’Hara and Pam Berry in 1992. Physical paper issues of the zine are still in production. I design directed and laid out the last two issues, numbers 18 and 19, seen here (with a dual cover). I also created small illustrations for the content inside. Happy Cat Feline Essentials is Vancouver, BC’s only all-cat supply store. When they were able to take over the space next door and expand, they asked for a simple fat cat illustration for window signage to promote their grand re-opening.

I designed the sleeve for this split single of two Japanese bands, Herpiano and OFFICE VOIDS. The record label owner asked for a 1980’s era neo-mod girl riding a scooter with her cat.
The All Girl Summer Fun Band, or AGSFB, began in 1998.
Jen has designed all of the band's albums plus many posters and fliers throughout the years.
Running coach and field hockey enthusiast Kimberly Graime wanted a logo for her new business that showcased her love of sport with a playful nod to our hometown of Portland, Oregon.
All it takes is an idea, a few exacto blades, a self-healing mat, patience, steady hands, some spray paint, a respirator, safety glasses...that's it.
These are some of my hand-crafted, screen printed, and stenciled posters.
